Honest Kids Juice Boxes, A Food Review
Honest Kids, from the makers of Honest Tea, is a line of organic juice drinks certified by Pennsylvania Certified Organic. The flavors of juice boxes under this brand I have for review today are Appley Ever After, Berry Good Lemonade, Goodness Grapeness and Super Fruit Punch. Please keep in mind that taste in general, and maybe even more so my taste (considering I'm still a picky eater in spite of trying to outgrow it), is HIGHLY subjective. Really, the best way to know if you'll like it is to try it yourself, but I hope this brief article finds people interested and helps with the choice of whether or not to.
Flavor
Overall, the taste is pretty watered down - at least in comparison to the juice I'm used to drinking, which is 100% fruit juice with no added sugar. Individually, the flavors also strike me as a little odd.
Appley Ever After tastes like apple, but a little more along the lines of sour apple candy.
Berry Good Lemonade, both my youngest brother and I noticed, is distinctly like blueberry yogurt. It has some tang like one might expect of lemonade but overall doesn't quite taste like it to me.
Goodness Grapeness does give off the idea of grapes, though tastes more like grape soda, candy, or maybe even grape bubblegum than grape juice.
Super Fruit Punch is probably the strongest of the four I had the opportunity to try, though still kind of watered down, and did actually evoke the idea of the classic fruit punch of my childhood.

Contents
Each flavor has a different blend of juices in it, alongside unspecified "natural flavors" and a few other additives- with the water dialing back its strength as well as actual percentage of juice it contains. Super Fruit Punch, for example, is labeled as containing 38% fruit juice. An additional selling point in this category is there's no added sugar. The Honest Kids website lists the ingredients more thoroughly than I have here, of course with dietary percentages fulfilled etc.
Packaging
Overall, I don't think these juice boxes were bad, but they're not something I would recommend unless you're looking for juice with less flavor. The only one of these four I could really say I liked is the Super Fruit Punch, and that's partly due to it being the strongest of this set. I can't speak for the other flavors that Honest Kids has under the brand, and someday I might try those. They could be better than these four here, who knows? Ultimately I think members of their target audience, actual children, would enjoy them on average.
